There won't be a Fourth of July Car Show at Campbellsville University because of Covid-19. BUT THERE WILL BE A CRUISE ON THE FOURTH.
That cruise will be at Car Quest, 309 South Central in Campbellsville. The cruise will be from 1 to 4 p.m. There is no cost. Car Quest is the sponsor.
Door prizes will be given away.
A food truck will also be present. And Car Quest is making its restroom available to all cruisers.
On Saturday, Aug. 1 there will be a cruise at Napa Auto Parts, 1050 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville from 1 to 4 p.m.
First Responders Night will be Saturday, Sept. 5 from 3 to 6 p.m. on Main Street in Campbellsville in front of the Justice Center.
Cruisers are asked to attend to honor all First Responders.
The annual Homecoming Car Show at Campbellsville University was set for Saturday, Oct. 24 from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. Homecoming is still uncertain because of the virus. If it does not take place, there will be a cruise on the first Saturday with details to be announced later.
Final event for the year is the Christmas Charity Car Show on Main Street in front of the Justice Center from 3 to 6 p.m. Come meet Santa, compete for a special award. The show raises money for Toys for Kids. The need this year will likely be greater than ever with so many people out of work due to the virus.
The car club's first cruise of the season will be the first Saturday in April. The Fourth of July Show will be on the Fourth at Campbellsville University.
